Kathryn Fitzgerald Gaudet
Born and raised in Portland Maine, Kate attended every possible art class she could, which includes getting a certificate in commercial arts from Portland arts and technology high school. There she participated in various art contests and an art installment called “lighthouses does across Maine.” Kate has painted murals, soldered silver to make artisan jewelry, welded to create metal flowers, drawn and painted using various media.
Kate was unable to find shoes of her liking and began to branch out by creating her own colors and designs on already existing shoes. During the pandemic, Kate taught herself to do creative restorations and repairs to damaged designer leather heels and bags. She is excited to share her knowledge with the others who want to do the same. Kate lives in Massachusetts with her husband and two sons.
