Leather dyes are super strong and full of color. They work great on leather because they soak in and last a long time. Suede dyes are a bit different—they have less color in them and are made to keep suede soft. Suede is that soft, fuzzy leather, and it needs special care. If you put leather dye on suede, it can make the suede hard, not soft and fuzzy like it should be.

Dyes takes the color of what is under them. So if you dye something white with red it will turn pink. It mixes with it. Paint sits on the surface and grabs on. You can cover anything with paint. Our paint is water based while our dyes are alcohol based.

Yes, all Angelus Dyes are mixable! Angelus Leather Dyes can be mixed with other Angelus Leather Dyes, and the same for Angelus Suede Dyes. Mixing dyes to acheive specific colors is harder than mixing paints and does require testing. (Do not mix Suede Dyes and Leather Dyes together.)

Keep in mind that this is considered a professional product. You may need to perform many tests before applying it to your final piece.

Red Suede Dye

Product with an excellent finish. Perfect!

OK, I received my latest 3 bottles, and used most of one of the bottles to finish off (hopefully) my formerly beige suede 3-buckle Creepers, (a project I've been working on). Each shoe/boot, seems to take about a bottle. And I've had to dye them, twice, now. They're pretty vibrant, though; 1st coat they had a "mulatto", marbled look.

Unfortunately, as I've stated before, this isn't eBay, so I am unable to include before/after pictures of the finished product. I may try to post them on the Angelus site, but my handiwork is NOTHING compared to the artists with their own talents, creating works of art. I just changed the color of mine. That's it. lol. 😄😄😁

Was able to finish my Creepers with this second bottle of red, AND have plenty left for touch-ups or other. This business/company has EXCELLENT product, and I continue to buy more product from them! Too bad I can't post my finished product(s), in pictures, to a site like this. 😔

OK, now that I've had a chance to use it, I can give it a review. Regular red dye, like the Dark Red I bought previously, is Excellent! Spreads easily; no muss, no fuss. I can't post a picture here of the one shoe I've done, but it is what it is. But I will need more dye, not just for a potential second coat, but one bottle wasn't enough to do two shoes. I have less than half a bottle to do the other shoe, which won't be enough. But that's OK. I should have extra for touch-ups.

Dyed my Adidas gazelles back to new!

It worked amazingly on my sneakers however I used a very tiny paintbrush around the difficult spots and a medium paintbrush for the rest. The tool is great to include in the kit of course but I didn’t end up using it.I would definitely recommend this suede dye!
