I was always fascinated with art as a kid.. and customising sneakers was one of them..back in highschool I used to see this Youtuber / Artist called "Marko" and I was just IN LOVE with the way he bought his ideas to like on a show canvas and I too wanted to try my hands on sneakers..but coming for a middle class family and that too in a country like India..your parents don't really know about much career options other than doctor, engeneer or a lawyer.. it's always seen like a hobby and buying angelus paints was QUITE AND INVESTMENT...at that time..12 bottles = my 1 month school fee and THAT was a HUGEEEE commitment and they couldn't just give it away thinking ahh..this is just for fun for my kid cuz my dad had a really hard time making ends meet..
But I was really confident with my skills! And that moment I took a leap of faith and took a loan from my dad to get my first set of angelus paints (12 shades and I still have 'em ) and man..I WAS TOO HAPPY 😂
The best part? I got my first order in the same month and i recovered the entire amount all at once from this one order and repaid the entire money back to my dad..at that moment..i could see the look on his face and it said only one thing "I'm proud son"
That is how I started my journey with angelus paints and this might sound like a flex (it is💀) but I started with 12 shades and cut to today i own every shade of angelus angelus has ever made🫠

Tips for Painting Custom Anime Shoes
Tip 1: Master Your Masking
Clean masking is key to sharp designs.
- Use high-quality masking tape to block off areas you don’t want to paint.
- For logos or precise details, create or print custom stencils to keep your lines clean.
- Press edges firmly to prevent paint bleed, especially when airbrushing. Use a little bit of heat to get your tape edges to seal even better with Vinyl Tape

Tip 2: Painting Solid Colors
Start with your base tones before adding details.

- Allow each coat to dry before adding the next.
- Use a flat or angular brush, or airbrush, for smooth, professional-looking coverage.
Tip 3: Using an Airbrush
Airbrushing helps achieve smooth gradients and anime-style shading.
- Use an airbrush with at least a .5mm nozzle.
- Mix your paint with 2-Thin if you need to thin it for your airbrush.
- Practice on scrap material to fine-tune your spray pattern.
- Clean your airbrush between colors to prevent unwanted mixing.
Tip 4: Perfecting Your Linework
Crisp outlines bring anime designs to life.
- Use a fine detail brush for outlines and small accents.
- Rest your painting hand for steadier control.
- Outline only after your base colors are fully dry.
Tip 5: Finishing Strong
Seal your artwork for lasting protection.
- Apply Angelus 4-Coat Finisher as the final step to lock in your preferred sheen and add durability.
- Choose your desired finish - Flat, Matte, Satin, or High Gloss.
- Let it cure for at least 24 hours before wearing or handling.

1. Dye daubers
2. 2 -Thin (my ABSOLUTE FAVVV cuz it just almost revives the "almost" dried-up paint)
3. 4-Coat finisher (cuz of the scratch proof thingy)
4. Neutral (this one's GOATTTT cuz it really helps when I'm done with the sketch and i usually have to coat it with white my hands do not message with the graphite but it just lowers the opacity of the sketch but neutral?...I just give it a simple spray and uuu laalaaa)
5. Brush cleaner (no explanation it's just that good)
We spend more time over thinking it than actually doing what we know will get us there..so sometimes..just pickup that paintbrush and keep going..cuz consistently will reward you for showing up!
