Last month, basketball fans got more than just the All-Star Weekend to be excited about. Jonathon Millar of JSM 801 Customs, Angelus Sponsored artist, took it up a notch by letting attendees customize their own sneakers at the NBA All Star Crossover.
If you’re at all interested in the world of sports, you probably know that the end of last month brought us the NBA All-Star Weekend, and with it, the NBA Crossover. Jonathon Millar of JSM 801 Customs brought the world of custom sneakers to this event by offering All-Star Crossover attendees the opportunity to take part in one of his sneaker customization workshops.
The NBA describes the crossover as “a multi-day interactive fan event that brings basketball culture to the forefront, featuring player appearances, live performances and unique activations focused on art, music, fashion, technology and entertainment!”. No doubt, JSM 801’s sneaker workshop fit in seamlessly with this ideology, all the while standing out as a unique experience that allowed participants to leave with even more unique shoes.
Attendees brought their own sneakers to design and create their very own one-of-a-kind custom kicks by utilizing the exact same products that Jonathon Millar uses to create his own customs - Angelus Paints, Brushes, and more.
A day full of learning and customizing, JSM's workshop created memories to last a lifetime as over 200 guests participated in this shoe customization event. Smiles stretched from ear-to-ear on the face of every person who left proudly carrying their one-of kind sneakers!
