The Angelus Professional Buff Rag is a 100% cotton shoe shine cloth for buffing polish and wax to a high shine. The soft cotton absorbs polish well and moves easily over the shoe, and the long 20" x 5" shape lets you pull it tight across the toe the way shoe shiners do.

How to use it

  1. Wrap the rag around two fingers or hold each end and pull it tight.
  2. Buff the polished leather with quick back-and-forth strokes.
  3. Switch to a clean section as the cloth picks up polish.

Seemed kind of rough for a buffing rag when I received it. The rag worked okay for buffing the shine on my boots but was not the easiest to work with due to the shape and thickness. I think it's meant to be used in a swiping motion by a shoe shiner rather than in a small circular finger driven buffing motion that you use for detailed shining.
