Angelus Clear Shoe Cement is an all-purpose clear glue for reattaching shoe soles and repairing rubber, leather, plastic, vinyl, and fabric. It dries clear, so it won't leave a visible mark.

Choose a 4 oz. bottle or quart.

How to use it

  1. Clean both surfaces with Angelus Leather Preparer & Deglazer or pure acetone.
  2. Apply a thick layer of cement to both surfaces.
  3. Press them together right away and clamp them.
  4. Keep them clamped for a full 24 hours.
  5. Let it dry at least 24 hours before wearing.

If the cap is hard to open, use an adjustable wrench.

What customers say

“I keep it in my shop and have had good luck. I use it on shoes but also for various applications in leather crafting. I've had especially good results bonding leather to metal, normally a challenge.”

Recovery

A grisly fate befell a favorite pair of natural color wool Haflinger clogs. Soaking them in Oxiclean successfully removed the stains but also loosened the wool upper from the cork footbed. I purchased your Clear Shoe Cement, consulted with a shoe repairer, and followed both your directions to glue them back together. It was fairly easy, though I was concerned how to get adequate weight or pressure to hold them together. Marbles inside the shoes provided weight. So far, so good. Am only wearing them around the house for a while to ensure they hold. Thus, only 4 stars for now to give enough time to ensure they stay together. Your product definitely seems to be a good one.

It’s okay

I feel like the bond could be a lot stronger but it overall got the job done for me and the shoe looks good.

Performs as Advertised.

Decided to completely dismantle a set up flip flops in order to paint them. Was concerned about reassembly. Picked up this product and it worked perfectly. Placed bags of sand on top of the footbeds for 24 hours so they’d bond to the soles — and they’re as good as the day they came from the factory. Great stuff.

Shoe glue boo 👎🏼

I have a pair of Jordan 10 Retro Doernbecher’s and the sole came off one night wearing them. Tried this glue but it was weak and didn’t hold.

Hi Joseph, we're sorry to hear the glue didn't hold up. Please reach out to our team to let us know how this product was applied. There are some steps needed for this to work to its full potential. We are more than happy to help and we appreciate your feedback!

Quality Cement

I'm used to contact cement that stays tacky when ready for assembly. But this seemed to be too dry and I thought I had done something wrong. (I know I hadn't waited too long.) So I tried putting the parts together anyway and see what happens. Well I got a perfectly solid connection with great adhesion. Works well and is easy to spread.

sole Repair

I was having trouble with the soles of my shoes coming apart in the AZ heat. I previously tried Shoe Goo and it would not keep the sole from coming apart. This cement works great.
