Custom made Clown shoes

I have a pair of custom made clown shoes that are over 30 years old and two different colors. The toe and heel is yellow. The body blue. The yellow leather cracked and some of the leather was missing. I really wanted to wear them again for making balloon animals. There isn't a cobbler in my area who knew what to do with them. I talked to an Angelus rep several times before I decided to repair them myself. I sent them pictures and was told what to use. I used the repair filler and sanded them as per directions. I just finished painting them. The paint is pretty thin. I couldn't count how many layers of paint that I put on them but they look great. I am going to wear them in a couple of weeks for a gig. I'm anxious to see how well they hold up. Thanks Angelus
