What fabrics does Rit All-Purpose Dye work on?
Natural fibers: cotton, wool and silk. It also works on nylon and rayon.
Will it work on polyester?
No. For polyester and acrylic, use Rit DyeMore Synthetic Fiber Dye.
Can I mix Rit colors?

How do I keep the color from fading?
