I had my doubts as I have bought so many “water proofing” products to use on my leather goods. 2 coats and the water beads up and doesn’t soak in at all!! The last thing I want is to sell a purse and have it develop water spots after all the work I’ve done. I’m sold on the Silicone Water Repellent!!!
Great product 👍. I wish they had packaged them upright during shipping though. Thankful they were placed in a bag at least because it prevented it from leaking onto everything else.
I love this brand been only using it for few months but this stuff really does work great on sneakers. As a joke I turned my son $150 Jordan 1 heritage into Jordan 1 Chicago they came out so good people don’t believe me when I tell them I made them. They look so good. If I didn’t say anything people wouldn’t know a thing. Now my son and I are going through our old sneakers seeing what we can do to them to bring new life to them.

the product worked great on the dry flies I have been tying. depending on the pattern you may have to brush it on. otherwise let them soak for a few minutes and shake.
Easy to apply. No waste with direct application versus aerosol. Keeps feet dry. Traditional product. Not found in stores. Works well in the field.

Can silicone water repellent be applied to nubuck leather? If it was, what would happen?
We do not recommend it. This product is too heavy and will sit on the surface. This product is ideal for smooth leather.
do you apply this once you are done painting your shoe or before you paint your shoethe other question I have is can I paint over a dark color shoe with a complety different color?
Hi there, our paints are water-resistant and durable on their own. If you are looking for a protective layer, we do offer our 4-coat finishers. Another product is our water , stain repellant that would repel water!PAINT -vs- DYEThe dye is a liquid, with the same consistency as water. (an alcohol-based product that is PERMANENT)The paint is thicker, more like syrup. (water-based acrylic)When you dye something it takes in the color that was there before and mixes in with it, for example, if you add blue dye to a yellow material it will turn green. Instead of it covering the color it mixes in with it, paint on the other hand can go from yellow to blue without a problem because the paint sits on top instead of seeping into the material as the dye does. We have not tested this product on other materials at this time. This would be a trial and error on your part. We do not recommend on Suedes.
How long does it take for this product to dry over top of your paints or on bare veg-tan leather?

What is the shelf life of your Silicone Water Repellent?
