Pattern Power

Pattern Power

While it will always be popular to dedicate a pair of customs to your favorite movie character or sports team, we're seeing more and more customs that use creative patterns to transform a pair of sneakers. From splatter prints to marbling, there are countless ways to go. Check out the latest patterned customs below.

These Nike Huaraches get the neon splatter treatment with these customs by stickynation_. Vibrant oranges, greens and blues transform these all black sneakers into a colorful neon pattern no one will miss. The key is keeping the pattern on only key parts of the uppers for maximum impact without overwhelming the entire shoe.

These pastel Jordan 1 Lows brought all the colors of springs to this custom by @sampsonnn4l. An ombre effect seamlessly blends from pink to blue to yellow for colorful uppers.

@kiramadethis uses skillful painting to create this realistic marble effect. With a pink background and careful brown veining on the uppers, these could easily be mistaken for the real thing.

@sneakerqueenscustoms recently stopped by Angelus Direct to show how she creates an abstract swirl pattern on these custom Vans. She uses custom mixed purple and blue color blocking to create a one of a kind design that makes the most of the pattern.
