Angelus Neon Flaming Orange is a high-intensity acrylic coating engineered for maximum visibility on leather, vinyl, and canvas. The specialized neon pigment requires a base coat of Angelus White to achieve its full fluorescent potential and ensure uniform opacity across the surface. Once applied in thin, even layers, the formula creates a flexible, water-resistant bond that moves with the material, preventing the structural failures common in lower-grade paints.

  • Formula: Water-based, high-flexibility acrylic polymer designed to resist cracking and peeling on athletic footwear.

  • Vibrancy: Fluorescent neon pigment provides a high-visibility finish; requires a white base coat for optimal color depth.

  • Versatility: Compatible with brushes or airbrushes; thinning with Angelus 2-Thin is required for airbrush use to maintain flow.

  • Durability: Professional-grade chemical composition creates a scuff-resistant, waterproof barrier once fully cured.

  • Sizes: Available in 1 oz and 4 oz bottles to accommodate accent work or full-panel custom projects.

How to Paint Leather:

  1. Use Angelus Leather Preparer & Deglazer, making 3–5 passes to remove the finish.

  2. Let the leather dry for a few minutes, then wipe with a microfiber cloth.

  3. Apply a similar-color base coat first; Neon colors require it for proper brightness.

  4. Apply 3–5 thin coats of Angelus Paint with a brush, sponge, or airbrush (0.35 mm+). Allow 15–30 minutes between coats.

  5. Allow the paint to cure for 24 hours before bending or wearing.

  6. For added protection or sheen, apply 1–2 light layers of Angelus 4-Coat.

How to Paint Canvas and Denim:

  1. Clean the material thoroughly using Angelus Easy Cleaner to remove oils and dirt.

  2. Ensure the canvas or denim is completely dry.

  3. For a softer, flexible feel, mix the paint with Angelus 2-Soft and heat-set after applying.

  4. Apply a similar-color base coat; Neon colors need it to pop.

  5. Apply 3–5 thin coats, drying 15–30 minutes between layers.

  6. Canvas doesn’t require a top coat, but Angelus 4-Coat can be used to adjust sheen.

It’s my first time ordering and first time painting shoes and I’m glad the quality of this paint is so high because I didn’t have any regrets while using this product.
