I've been using Angelus paints on leather Nikes for quite some time, always with excellent results. Then the grandson decided he wanted custom Vans. With no canvas shoe painting experience, I started looking through the Angelus site and found the fabric medium. It was easy to mix with Angelus paints. Some of the colors took more than a few coats but the final results are amazing! And the grandson's face when he saw his shoes was priceless!!
I used this for painting on a leather jacket and I am very happy with the results. So thankful there are products like this.

The paint leaves sock liners still flexible and not stiff. there’s a bit of a different feeling but still better than just using the paint by itself

I am just breaking into the world of custom shoes. I got pretty zealous and started with dark canvas shoes. The 2-soft has been a big help in making sure the paint doesn’t crack. Highly recommend!

I used 2 soft for painting on a denim jacket and it made the paint pliable and didn’t effect the color or consistency. Great product!

I love Angelus in every department. I mixed 2-Thin and a thermal solar powered powder paint additive over Angelus paint. After doing some research I found it adding glow in the dark paint will help charge the thermal paint so so I mixed that with it as well so it changes color in the sun the sun and then at nighttime they glow in the dark is glow in a dark epic. Picture is wrapping up the end result.
I work on canvas shoes and so the acrylic paints by themselves would be too harsh. The paint could potentially crack from creasing. This definitely alters the paint-I usually add more or less depending on the effect I want. I figured out I can sort of make it runny enough to act like watercolor and I love doing that. It’s great.
The product works as stated! I find that adding more than the suggested amount makes shoes softer!
