The Angelus Direct Essentials Kit is a shoe paint kit with everything you need to clean, prep, and paint your first custom sneakers. It's made for beginners and works just as well for experienced customizers who want a full restock.

We've made Angelus paint in Los Angeles since 1907.

What's in the kit

How to use it

  1. Clean the shoes with the Easy Cleaner Kit and let them dry.
  2. Wipe leather with Deglazer on an applicator pad to remove the factory finish.
  3. Paint 3 to 5 thin layers, letting each dry 15 to 30 minutes.
  4. Let the shoes dry for 24 to 48 hours before wearing.

No. Seal your finished work with Angelus 4-Coat for extra protection and the sheen you want.

Can I use the paint on canvas?

Yes. Mix it with Angelus 2-Soft so canvas stays soft.

Seems like great product. Only complaint is that they sold an essentials kit with everything needed to custom paint leather with instructions that say you need to immediately buy the clear coat to protect the paint seperately. No idea why they dont include it so you trully have a complete kit.
