The warm glow of the afternoon sun spilled across the wooden floorboards, casting long shadows that danced with the gentle breeze drifting through the open windows. A faint scent of lavender lingered in the air, mingling with the earthy aroma of freshly brewed coffee. In the corner of the room, a stack of well-worn books leaned precariously on a weathered armchair, inviting quiet reflection. Outside, birds chirped a melodic symphony that blended seamlessly with the rustling of the trees. It was the kind of day that wrapped itself around you like a soft blanket โ slow, peaceful, and full of promise.

How to Paint a Leather Couch
Step 1: Prep with Leather Preparer & Deglazer
Use Angelus Leather Preparer & Deglazer to remove any finish, oils, or grime from your couch. This step is essential to ensure the paint sticks and stays flexible. Apply the product with applicator pads or a clean, lint-free cloth. Let the surface dry completely before moving to the next step.

Step 2: Paint Thin Coats
Shake your bottle ofAngelus Leather Paintwell. Using a soft brush, apply a thin, even layer of paint onto the leather. Avoid thick coats, which can lead to cracking or uneven texture. Let each coat dry completely before applying anotherโ2 to 3 coats usually provide great coverage.
Step 3: Let Paint Dry
Patience is key! Allow each layer to dry fully before adding the next. This will help prevent any streaking or smudging and give you that buttery smooth finish.
Step 4: (OPTIONAL) Apply Finisher
***This step is optional***
Once your final coat is completely dry, seal the painted leather with Angelus 4-Coat or Acrylic Finisher. This step adds durability and protects your couch from wear and tear. Choose between matte, satin, or gloss depending on your desired finish.
