Indy @Indycisive_customs
My name is Indy, I’m 20 years old, and I live in Utrecht, the Netherlands. I have always been very creative; drawing, crocheting, filmmaking, making jewelry, sewing, doing nails, and painting. But I didn’t like the idea of my art just lying around, and I’m a big fashion fan. What better way to express yourself than through your art? That’s when I combined all of my passions into my custom clothing brand: INDYCISIVE.
InstagramCreator Questions
What do you use our products for?
I use your products for all of my painted art: painting on jeans, jackets, shoes, caps, belts, and bags.
How did you hear about Angelus?
I found out about Angelus by watching YouTubers use it to paint sneakers ever since I was very little. I was always so amazed by their work. When I started painting again at 17, I saw Angelus paint on TikTok and immediately knew which brand I wanted to use.
What are your top 5 Angelus products?
Some of my favorite Angelus products are the Self-Healing Cutting Mat, 2-Soft, the Angelus Detail Knife for taping off shoes and cutting Nike Swooshes, and Angelus Brush Cleaner for cleaning my airbrush. I finish it off by protecting my work with Angelus Water & Stain Repellent.
If you could give one piece of advice to aspiring artists, what would it be?
“Just start” is something I always tell people. It sounds so cliché and easy, but for me, it’s always very hard to start a project and even harder to finish it. Because what if it doesn’t turn out perfect? But making something imperfect is always better than sitting around waiting to feel ready. Most of the time, you figure it out while creating anyway. That’s where my brand name, INDYCISIVE, comes from. That doubt drives creation.
How to Customize Roller Skates:
A Step-By-Step Guide
1Prep the Surface
Clean the Nubuck/Suede: Use a soft-bristle brush or suede eraser to remove all dirt, dust, and debris from the surface.

2Mix the Paint
Combine Paint + 2-Soft: Mix Angelus Leather Paint with Angelus 2-Soft at a 1:1 ratio.

3Creating the Sunset Gradient
Apply Thin Coats: Use a soft-bristle brush to apply thin, light layers. Work the paint into the fibers rather than applying one thick layer.
Dry Between Coats: Allow each coat to dry completely before applying the next until you reach full coverage (usually 2–3 thin coats).

4Adding Environmental Details
Heat Set the Paint: Once dry, use a heat gun (at 300°F for 3–5 minutes).
Protect the Surface: Finish with 1–2 thin coats of Angelus 4-Coat Finisher for maximum durability and water resistance.
Cure Time: Let the boots cure for 24 to 48 hours before wearing them, and avoid exposing them to moisture during this time.
