Hi I’m Kira, and I’m excited to introduce myself as the new Creative Director at Angelus Brand!
Before I get into the exciting stuff we’re dropping in 2025, let me tell you a little about my journey with Angelus. A few years ago, I was right where a lot of you are...customizing sneakers, making art, and experimenting with my personal style. After posting consistently for a year, Angelus was actually the first brand to notice my work and sponsor me as an artist 🥹 (seriously, I still get emotional about it).
That partnership didn’t just mean free paint—it gave me the confidence to dream bigger, push my boundaries, and turn my passion into something I never thought possible. Fast forward to today, and I’m honored to take on this new role and give back to the community that helped shape my creative journey.
If you’re just starting your creative journey, here are my top tips:
1️⃣ Just start. Stop overthinking it—pick up a brush, a pen, or whatever, and go for it. The first step is everything.
2️⃣ Mess up, on purpose. Trust me, the best ideas come from those “oops” moments.
3️⃣ Find your people. Whether it’s online or in person (or both!), connecting with other creators and building your "tribe" will change everything.
Now, for the BIG NEWS: We’re building a sneaker painting school. Yep, a physical space based in LA, where you can learn, create, and vibe with other artists. Think hands-on workshops, expert-led classes, and everything you need to level up your skills. It’s something I wish existed when I was starting out, and I can’t wait to bring it to life for you all.
