Each option adds a protective, water-resistant topcoat that helps guard paint from moisture and minor scuffs/scrapes once fully dry.

Completing your project should feel as satisfying as a flawless paint job. Here’s a handy guide for creators who want a durable coat that stays sharp and looks great.

1. Prep the surface. Before you even touch a paintbrush, make sure your surface is prepared. Use our Leather Preparer & Deglazer to clean and deglaze the surface. This ensures the paint bonds well and the final finish is perfect. Check out our prep collection for everything you need.

2. Paint your piece. Apply Angelus Acrylic Paint in light, even coats. Our paint is known for its smooth application. Allow 15-30 minutes between layers to dry, then let the finished paint cure for approximately 24 hours before flexing the material.

3. Pick your sheen. This is the fun part. Select the finisher that best suits the look you desire. We have Normal/600, Satin, High Gloss, and Matte options.

4. Apply thin, even coats. For best results, apply a thin coat of the finisher. For a smooth finish, consider using our high-quality paintbrushes or an airbrush. You can also briefly heat-set with a heat gun to set the finisher.

5. Let it dry and handle it with care. After applying the top coat, let it dry completely. Allow at least 24 hours for the finisher to fully cure before wearing or handling the item.
