Metal a. I bought the aerosol spray for a highly valued application. I’ve used the paste or liquid many times but neither would do here. Trying to preserve a 74 year old thin leather jacket on a pair of spurs made by my father in high school, about 1947. They had become so old and dehydrated I was afraid to touch them. The Angelus aerosol was PERFECT. Accomplished the mission with no damage or discoloration. I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!
