How it works
How to use it
For airbrushing, mix 1 part 2-Thin to 4 parts paint.
Strain the mix through a reusable paint strainer to catch clumps before they clog your airbrush.
Spray through an airbrush with at least a 0.35mm nozzle.
New to airbrushing? Start with the 1:4 mix, test spray on scrap first, and adjust from there. Our YouTube channel has step-by-step airbrush tutorials.

Great thinner it’s a must have when air brushing paint color is not effected by the thinner and helps paint flow smoothly out your gun and lay a nice smooth color
I love this stuff. It makes my paints a lot easier to use and I don’t get gunk in my bottle like I do with water when thinning. Since I have been using your paints a lot lately that is a big deal. I have over 60 different shades and I am replacing my 1 oz. Bottles with 4 oz. Bottles, thinning them and putting them I smaller jars with wider lids. I love your products and will continue to buy from you. I was disappointed that I couldn’t get the 2-thin in a quart size bottle and you need to get that fixed.
overall this product works as described. that being said I wish the paint was consistent with all paints. yellow doesn't seem to need thinning but neon colors are chalky and need thin. with other colors it is a guessing game until you've used them enough to know when to thin and when to not. My guess is that the paint is designed to be used more with a bristle brush rather than an airbrush, where thinning is required.
Thins paint exactly as described. Doesnt take away from the paint. Great for Angelus acrylic paints

Customizing my first pair of Clark Wallabees turned out great using 2-THIN. It thinned out the Angelus acrylic leather paint to a consistency I needed for customizing my suede shoes. U CAN'T LOSE WITH 2-THIN!!

Great use it a lot due to airbrushing.
If you have ever painted a t-shirt or any other cloth material then you know the issue with paint and stiffness. 2-thin helps fabric stay soft and you'll avoid that awkward stiffness. I used it to paint the inside of an old jewelry box and I loved the results. I'm sure you will too.

The perfect product when paint gets a little too thick. I initially thought this would change the color it take it too thin, but to my surprise it just thinned the acrylic enough to make it perfect. Love all of Angelus's products. I also have to say that their support is amazing.

The flexibility 2-thin provides, even with multiple coats, is incredible. This is the only thinner I will use on leather.
