The best way to describe this Dye Pen is to say it’s a Sharpie with your choice of leather dye. You can get into the smallest places with total accuracy. Finish detail on edges is so simple or small touch ups are no longer a pain. I use mine virtually every day. Won’t go without them ever again.

Idk if it was operator error or what but when I poured the dye into the pen, it come out the other end all over my hands 😬 Will not try that again.
Oh no! so sorry to hear that! The pen is not meant to have any product poured into it like the paint markers.
These ones have an applicator that needs to be soaked with the dye. You take that piece out, let it soak in the dye bottle, then put it back into the pen. The tip will soak up the dye for use!

Maybe I’m not letting it soak long enough. But it seems to run dry quickly. Getting the cap off can be a little messy if your not careful.

They work great for fine detail and small spaces
Loved using this to apply the dye. So much more control than the applicator it comes with.
One pen worked exactly as described: it quickly absorbed the dye and it was like using a marker. The other didn't absorb much and I ended up using a paintbrush with dye. It was a 50/50 experience. I'm not sure I'll buy it again.

it broke after about a day of using, the pen part went inside the pen and won’t come back out

came out just like a marker. it is really good for precision. using for decorating leather medieval items.
This pen was the perfect size for fine outlines that the brush frazzled on
Once the pen was loaded, it was a pleasure to use.It was a breeze to get into the tight areas and outline detailed areas. And made touching up easy.
I followed directions to the T and the pen didn’t take to the dye and the tip was super hard. Had to throw it away after an hour of trying to get it to work. Waste of my money and definitely would not buy it again. Refund?

These pens are easy to use, refillable and can be stored for a decent amount of time. The fine tip pens are perfect for consistent thin lines if your skills with a brush still needs work.
I've finally decided to buy the starter Kit from Angelus, and let me tell you guys. This kit is the bomb!!! The paint really sticks to the shoe and it is exactly as they have it described. If you are now starting out like me. I suggest you get the starters kit and as you get better at customizing you could always upgrade to more colors and stuff.

Your sole dye works amazingly well on Adidas ultra boost. I dyed my boost and have had no issues. I definitely recommend if you are wanting to change color of your boost material. Thank you Angelus Direct. And thank you for all the goodies I always receive with my packages. I'll be back for more.
