I work in the kitchen and I've had these boots for many years I have never polished them. I needed them for a memorial service I scrubbed them up really good and I put this product on them. The more you put on it and let it soak into the used leather the better. I put on a lot of coats. It was super easy with the applicator. Very minimal mess. Would 100% buy this again.
With the built-in applicator, this works very well to give a nice polishable shine.

I needed some black dress shoes for a wedding.I owned a wonderful old pair of very nice leather shoes that had been in y closet for years.In 15 minutes they looked brand new.
I like that liquid shine color
I was hesitant to buy this given some of the poor reviews, but this is some good stuff. I have been in law enforcement for more than 17 years, and have been expected to have a shine on my boots. Yes, with the first coat, this polish will not give you much of a shine. If you have some scuffs, the leather will soak up the polish and it will be dull in that area at first. But after 7 or 8 coats (which are SUPER easy to apply) your boots/shoes will have a good shine that is tough. Most of the brush on shines are basically a Vaseline type substance that doesn't last. This stuff actually builds a coat that is as tough as a regular spit-shine polish. Apply a coat to your footwear every 20 minutes for a total of 7 coats, and you will see a shine.
I say in the title “Almost” because I didn’t read the Shake Well instructions at the top - and had to give my boots a second go. But I *did* give it 5 stars. Just make sure you shake well!

Easier than “paste “ polish. Be sure to wash the applicator after us or else it will harden up!
What can you say about shoe polish. It does cover scuffs nicely. Not messy.
Excellent product. Paired with Angelous shoe shine wax, it is the premium option for the best military shine. I don’t use any other brand.. If I’m in a rush, I coat my boots with this and it looks like I actually shined my boots the regular way.

I used this on my black combat boots for Civil Air Patrol, and they were the best shone boots in the inspection! Easy to use, dries quickly, and doesnt flake as easy as wax polish.
