Works great. Filled in cracks seamlessly.

Used on a 66 year old leather purse. The purse was severely cracked and dirty. Used the whole system. Cleaning, moisturizing and the repair filler followed by Angelus acrylic paint.
The strap was so bad I thought I’d have to cut it off. After multiple coats and adding texture with the filler - it worked- flexibility and no cracks.

I didn’t know what to expect when trying this for the first time… but wow this really covered up a cut I made in leather and made it blend into well.

I have used this product and have found it to be a great filler. Start with a tiny dab then build up if you need too. Angelus sells great brushes to use with this filler.

I was afraid I was out of my depth trying to use this product to repair a vintage purse. But, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy and user friendly it was. My bag looks brand new! Actually kinda unbelievable. I can’t wait for my next restoration project.

Hello, I really liked how the filler applied and sanded smooth. I followed the instructions to a tee. The paint also applied well and I got a real nice color match. I let the repair cure for a few days. The repair was on the side of the seat where you get in and out drivers side. I was pleased how the repair looked, until I took a drive to the post office a few miles away and when I got out the edges were lifting already. Any advise to make this work on the side of the seat and I'll give a higher score. Totally flat repair should work well, but under side seat stress there may be a trick.

I wish I had explored repairing the flaking inside lining of shoes years ago--I really assumed it must be a really intensive process and probably too expensive to justify having a cobbler repair it. I do tiny touch ups on shoes and had a vintage pair of pumps that were perfect, except after I wore them once, the inside lining gave up the ghost and started to flake. I decided to look into repairs because it was either trash the shoes or make an attempt to repair. After several videos made it look straightforward, I ordered this--its inexpensive, so why not try? I carefully sanded the flaking areas and coated with this "liquid leather"--it was thinner in consistency and easier to work with than I expected! I'm thrilled and I will be taking on more repairs from here on out--ingavent experimented with painting over it but it says you can use acrylic so I may try to color match my shoes original interior. Don't toss your shoes! Keep this around and save them!

Worked well to fill in cracks on faux leather and cat claw marks. Needs to be painted over, not leather dye. Before and After in photos.

I used this before using leather paint on the cracks in my bonded leather dining room chairs. It dries thick, and leaves marks even after sanding. It is elastic-y after it dries, which hopefully will make it last longer in the cracks and not crack again. I had to use several coats to get it to fill in perfectly. I then used several coats of the leather paint. The filler dries white, so take this into consideration when painting over it. The chairs aren't perfect, but they'll last a bit longer until I can find replacements that I like as much.The After pic is the final result after using this filler and then using leather paint.

Does the job nicely when paired with sane brand acrylic pant cover up on your preferred color of another paint product of your choice to cover up cracks or tears in your leather goods. We can continue to e joy our office chairs much longer now. Highly recommend.

This product is fantastic. Works as intended if used correctly. You have to put on thin layers and let it dry against the grain of the leather. You have to get the material inside the cracks to fill it in.It will not work miracles, but it will fill in cracks and small holes. I am amazed that this product worked like it said. I have not written a review in years, but this product warrants it.I had cracks and pieces missing from my chair. Glued them back on with this product and it worked!

I got this couch for free with an ottoman and wanted to patch it. Had a lot of peeling it’s blended leather so I didn’t think I could make it work. But this product was worth it used the filler first let it dry (used a blow dryer) and used the burgundy paint. I bought the gloss finisher but I liked it better without it was to glossy for the finish of the couch.It’s not a professional patch but I have little patience so not the products fault.

Ask me if this white goo is any good and I will scream at you NO ITS NOT GOOD, ITS AMAZING.Seriously - I attached a photo to prove it. I don’t even know what else to say. This is my first time using it and I literally restored life back into a pair of Dr Martens boots with a freakin hole in the toe, that went all the way through to the steel. I thrifted them for $20.By the way I’ve never done leather craft before so let that speak volumes to you - awesome product and company, 5/5 stars.

Good producto, cream excellent

This stuff was perfect. I used shoe glue to glue a denim backing to the hole in my sofa, then applied this filler directly over. The leather was incredibly uneven but it only took 3 applications (sanding in between coats) to fill the area to my satisfaction. I applied color restorer over the filler. The area looks a little too smooth and shiny compared to the rest of the sofa, but for a home patch it looks great and I might be the only person to notice it.

This product is amazing! However, you must be patient between applying coats and sanding. Our chihuahua decided to chew a hole nearly a the size of a half dollar into our Italian leather sofa. Luckily, the manufacturer placed a matching strip under the cushion for color matching and potential repairs. I used that piece of material to place into a pre-cut hole I made where the damage was. I left enough space to fill the gaps after gluing a piece of material inside to hold the leather patch in place. I allowed each layer of Filler to dry 2-3 hours and then touched up with paint and medium mix.It took me a day and a half to complete.

I tore a hole in my favorite recliner while trying to clean it. I assumed it was ruined and needed to be replaced but did a little research and decided to give Angelus Leather Filler a try. I'm glad I did. I read the reviews and did what others had done. Before I tried to repair the tear, I glued some backing cloth to the inside of the hole. I then applied Angelus, using several light coats with gentle sanding after each coat. I added a bit of leather dye after each coat. I also filled a large crack in the arm of the recliner. The repairs are nearly invisible to the naked eye. This recliner is almost 30 years old and one of a matching set. I'll be able to get a few more years out of it if the filler holds up. I am very pleased with the results I got.

I accomplished this in about 5 minutes or less. My favorite vintage coach had a split. I dabbed some of this in and then mixed brown and orange Angelus paint to cover. I probably should have waited and done another layer of filler. But I was too excited! With patience this stuff will work amazingly!
