Do you need to paint plastic or other hard surfaces? Then Angelus 2-Hard Paint Hardener is the perfect item for you! When mixed with Angelus Acrylic Paints, this product will allow the paint to adhere to non-porous surfaces such as plastic or glass. Angelus 2-Hard acrylic paint additive​ promotes adhesion and film hardness.

Directions:

  • Mix paint hardener with Angelus Acrylic Paints: 50% 2-Hard for flexible surfaces, 75% 2-Hard for rigid surfaces.
  • Apply multiple thin coats until you obtain full and even coverage.
  • Allow to dry for 48 hours.

This was my first time using this product, & I think it really helped with the adhesion process in the surfaces I applied the paint to. The only thing I don’t like is that it hardens in the bottle around the top after pouring.

Angelus gold metallic acrylic on metal buckles

Used this on a project to paint metal buckles on boots. Followed the guidelines from Angelus. Used white acrylic paint mixed with the prescribed 75% hardener and 25% acrylic paint on the metal as a base coat. Followed with Angelus gold metallic acrylic mixed to the same 75/25 ration.
Transformed the metal buckles and accessories into looking almost like gold.
