You can refill them with the same color and swap out the tip when needed. Just note that they aren’t meant to be reused with a different color.

Empty Marker Body

The Angelus empty paint marker comes in three sizes: 3.0 mm, 5.0 mm, and 10.0 mm. 

Each features a dual tip, a rounded point on one end and a chisel on the other, for maximum flexibility in drawing, writing, and fill work.

NOTE: Not compatible with Metallics, Neons, or Glitterlites paints.

Standard Acrylic Paint

Available in 1 oz, 4 oz, pint, and quart sizes, Angelus Brand’s acrylic paint is smooth-flowing and water-based, making it ideal for DIY paint markers. 

The opaque formula provides good coverage. Use brown, orange, green, or any other color you love.

2-Hard Film Hardener

Mix the 2-Hard film hardener with Angelus paint to increase adhesion and toughness on rigid surfaces.

• Use 50% 2-Hard for flexible surfaces

• Use 75% 2-Hard for rigid surfaces like glass

This additive is perfect for creating durable designs that don’t peel or chip.

Tip Options

Replace worn nibs with paint marker replacement tips, available in 3.0 mm, 5.0 mm, and 10.0 mm. 

Each tip is reversible, with one rounded end and one chisel for varying line weights and artwork styles.

1. Prep Your Glass: Clean your surface with glass cleaner or alcohol to remove residue and ensure adhesion.

2. Mix Paint + Hardener: Blend 75% Angelus 2-Hard Film Hardener with 25% Angelus Paint Colors. Thin with Angelus 2-Thin if needed.

3. Fill Marker: Load your mix into the Angelus empty paint marker using a dropper or syringe. Shake thoroughly until the flow is smooth and even.

4. Decorate: Use your marker on glass surfaces. Whether you're labeling jars or creating bold signs, your designs will apply cleanly and evenly.

5. Cure: Let it dry for 24 to 48 hours. For a more permanent finish, oven-bake heat-safe surfaces according to the material’s guidelines.

6. Seal (Optional): Apply Angelus Acrylic Finisher for added scratch resistance and longevity, especially for high-use items like vases or decorative glassware.

1. If you're aiming for translucent layers or soft gradients, thin your custom mix with Angelus 2-Thin to create transparent effects.

2. When applying your design, avoid drips and streaks by pressing lightly and applying the paint in thin, even layers. 

3. Let each coat dry just enough to feel tacky before adding the next; this helps you build up color smoothly without compromising coverage. 

4. Before each use, shake your marker thoroughly to ensure pigments are fully mixed, especially for custom blends. 

5. Properly priming the dual tip will ensure a consistent flow and clean application on the glass surface you're customizing.
