Angelus Glitterlites Paint - Desert Gold

Happy with the result, I applied over small areas of green, red and yellow color and worked good , just what I wanted.

I am obsessed with all Angelus products, but being able to add glitter to any of my purses, makes my soul happy. These are amazing.

I got two coats of paint on a pair of bootie-style strappy platform heels out of one little 1 oz. bottle. The paint sticks gorgeously to the leather, and not too badly to the slick lacquered wood base of my shoes. I probably should've sanded the wood base to prep, but even without it, it looks great. It is a very forgiving paint. I was pretty sloppy in my application and it is glimmering and gorgeous. I've let them dry overnight and when I pick the shoes up only a miniscule amount of glitter comes off on my hand, so the paint appears to have great staying power. Even though they say it isn't needed, I went ahead and sprayed a light coat of wax shoe polish (Master 'Quick Shine') over the glitter thinking it'll probably offer just a little more protection over time. They are shoes after all. It was so shimmery already that it didn't get any shinier, but the spray didn't diminish the shine any either, so I'm glad I didn't undo my sparkle-up. The photo doesn't do the glitter justice. They shimmer much more in person.Looking forward to trying out other colors. I have to be careful though or I might wake up one morning to find every shoe I own glittered! :-D

I love this paint, I did half my roller skates and now debating if I wanna do the entire thing. Might get a diff color glitterlites color though 😍 I just did it today so we’ll see how it lasts. Looks so good tho!

I originally planned to do a light layer of gold glitter over a peach color. I thinned the glitterlight down a bit with 2thin… It worked pretty well, however the glitter was only visible from a few select angles so I ended up using it as directed and the results are fantastic! I used this on a pair of leather rollerskates and they look phenomenal. The glitter does not come off on your hands once it has dried completely. Be patient it takes a few layers!

I loved the color. It had enough shine to get the look I was looking. Will be buying more glitter colors in the future

The video made the Glitterlites look like more of a paint that you easily brush on, but they take a little more effort than that in my experience. After perfecting the dab and lightly swish method, I've given my shoes and handbags and unique, sparkly finish that looks amazing! I plan to order many new colors to spruce up many more of my items. The Desert Gold looks fantastic on my bags and shoes that I'd painted black. I love it!
