This was exactly what I needed. I had a pair of plain matte black chinks that I decided to make shiny or add some pop to it. I have used a couple of the pearlescent paints, but they didn't have a black and decided to give the glitter a shot. I am glad I did because it turned out amazing.

The end result looks great but getting consistent coverage is difficult. After two coats it requires a lot of spot painting where there was no coverage.

Glitterlites are designed to be a sparkling, semi-transparent product that adds a shimmering effect rather than providing full opacity. This spotty appearance is actually a characteristic of the product, as the glitter pigments are dispersed throughout the medium, creating a beautiful, glittery finish.
Due to its nature, it’s not possible to achieve a completely opaque look with Glitterlites. However, you can layer it over a base coat of a similar color to enhance the coverage or achieve the desired effect. I was super excited to use this on some upcoming art pieces but due to a break in it & all my other Angelus paints were stolen. Am starting my collection over but will for sure look at buying this again.
The video made the Glitterlites look like more of a paint that you easily brush on, but they take a little more effort than that in my experience. After perfecting the dab and lightly swish method, I've given my shoes and handbags and unique, sparkly finish that looks amazing! I plan to order many new colors to spruce up many more of my items. The Tuxedo black wasn't as sparkly on black items as I'd hoped, so I added gunmetal, and that gave things a bit more of a subtle, pretty sparkle

Love! I highly recommend getting black paint for the bottom coat especially for this one! It does require a couple more layers to get that sparkle to shine through!

How in the world do you apply it... i tried so mamanmamany different brush strokes and it never ever comes out like your video
Hello!The easiest way to apply is to first put a base color underneath that matches with the color of glitterlites you will use.After you have the base color, make sure it is completely dry, then when going in with the glitterlites make sure you use your paintbrush and go back and forth with it to get as much glitter off of the paintbrush as possible.If you have any more questions feel free to contact us at Info@angelusdirect.com thank you
Thats really all it looks like. I've used other glitterlite with great success but this black stuff is just not that great. It basically looks like i painted my shoes with black sand...barely any sparkle to it.

Needs a better descriptor -- it's not a color as much as an accent. Having a ton of experience w nail polish and the sparkly topcoat variants thereof, I totally get black sparkles in a clear base, and it's great over already-black leather. It's a bit like sandpaper when dry but SPARKLY.
i only tried it on a test spot so far. not quite what i was expecting, but ill find something to use it on
