Leather dyes are super strong and full of color. They work great on leather because they soak in and last a long time. Suede dyes are a bit different—they have less color in them and are made to keep suede soft. Suede is that soft, fuzzy leather, and it needs special care. If you put leather dye on suede, it can make the suede hard, not soft and fuzzy like it should be.
Dyes takes the color of what is under them. So if you dye something white with red it will turn pink. It mixes with it. Paint sits on the surface and grabs on. You can cover anything with paint. Our paint is water based while our dyes are alcohol based.
Yes, all Angelus Dyes are mixable! Angelus Leather Dyes can be mixed with other Angelus Leather Dyes, and the same for Angelus Suede Dyes. Mixing dyes to acheive specific colors is harder than mixing paints and does require testing. (Do not mix Suede Dyes and Leather Dyes together.)
Keep in mind that this is considered a professional product. You may need to perform many tests before applying it to your final piece.

I ordered this variety pack for a rather large suede headliner project. I used wool dabbers, Paint brush and airbrush to apply these dyes..Some colors are thicker than others some being more like water and others as thick as acrylic paint so just keep that in mind when trying to combine these dyes on the same project. They wont all look the same during or after application and some colors are far more dominate than others.
The instructions will tell you over and over to test a small area first and you absolutely should. These dyes can take on different looks based on how you thin them down, how you apply them and how they dry. So test a sport from start to finish first give it the full time to dry so you know what the end result will look like.
In the end i was very satisfied with the final look of each color but it does take a little playing around to figure out which technique is best for applying which color. After using wool dabbers, brushes and airbrush the dabbers work the best for full saturation and really getting the color in.. brushes are great for detail work or creating a sharp line with the colors and the airbrust was great for color blending and accents of color saturation when needed.
Overall the price of this variety pack vs getting any of these bottles individually is an incredible deal and also its half the price of what youd pay in store!! So dont mess around and pick up a bottle on amazon or walmart stick with buying directly from the source and get more bang for your buck!
Now i used this for a large suede project but ill order another variety pack just for all the sneakers iv got. You really cant go wrong with these colors and if you prep and seal our suede properly your projects will look even better and last even longer!

Suede dyes are Phenomenon they dry quick and they cover well. I use Angelus for all my custom needs. This company is great and I’ve never had a problem in my shipments are always fast and accurate.
I ordered 12 various colors to pain some of my suede boots and this product is amazing. A little bit goes a long way. The pink is more creamy than I anticipated versus the liquid stain of the others so it really pops and looks awesome for detailing. The yellow is very vibrant as well. I used it as a background for a design on cream suede and it dried very bright and nice
