Created for high-impact customization, this water-based acrylic paint bonds to leather, vinyl, and canvas without the risk of cracking. The professional formula provides a smooth application that stays pliable after curing, ensuring the hot pink pigment moves with the material rather than peeling or flaking. By applying thin layers over a deglazed surface, you achieve a waterproof and scratch-resistant finish that maintains its bold color on high-wear sneaker panels.

Formula: Flexible, water-based acrylic designed for leather restoration and custom sneakers.

Application: Works with brushes, sponges, or airbrushes (0.35mm+ nozzle recommended).

Coverage: High-saturation hot pink pigment; for maximum brightness on dark surfaces, apply over a white base coat.

Durability: Resists water, scuffs, and fading once the 24-hour curing process is complete.

Sizes: Available in 1 oz, 4 oz, Pint, and Quart containers.

PAINTING LEATHER

1. Prepare leather surfaces using 3-5 passes of Angelus Leather Preparer & Deglazer using our applicators, cotton balls, or a rag. (acetone can also be used).

2. Wait for leather to dry a few minutes. When dry, wipe with microfiber cloth to remove any remaining dust particles.

3. Apply Angelus Paint with paint brush, airbrush (at least 0.35mm nozzle) or sponge. Apply 3-5 coats or until desired coverage has been reached. Less coats can be used for line work and detail work.

Make sure to leave to dry 15-30 minutes between layers.

4. Allow to dry for at least 24 hours before allowing paint to bend or flex. Be careful of flying lint or debris getting on the shoe to avoid imperfections. Longer curing time ensures better durability.

5. To add extra protection or customize the finish, apply Angelus 4-Coat Clear Coat in Flat, Satin, Glossy, or Matte. Use 1-2 layers for the best results. 1-2 layers on top.

PAINTING CANVAS/DENIM - SHOES, CLOTHING, AND MORE

1. Prep by cleaning the surface with a cleaning product like our Angelus Easy Cleaner Kit. It is necessary to get out all the oils and dirt that may be sitting in or on the canvas. 

2. Make sure there is adequate dry time and that you wipe off and get all the cleaner out.

3. (Optional) If you want to make the paint soak in and not be as rubbery textured on canvas we suggest using our product 2-Soft mixed with our paint. You can paint Angelus paint directly on canvas without it but it just will feel more like a screen print then part of the shoe. When using 2-Soft you must heat set.

4. Paint with 3-5 light layers of Angelus Paint. Make sure to leave to dry 15-30 minutes between layers.

5. Leave to dry. 

(Optional) No additional protection is really needed as the paint has soaked into the canvas. If you want to change the sheen to a matte or glossy look instead we do suggest our 4-Coat Clear Coat.

A perfect pink

A perfect pink. The name makes it sound like it will be brighter but it is just bright enough. I bought this color to paint a pair of sneakers for a Breast Cancer Awareness event and I received plenty of compliments. Many thought I bought them this color. 😊

I know it's the buyers fault but you do not allow us to double check before paying if out address has changed. You only keep our address in file and it's up to us to remember to go in and change it. Now this is the 3RD SALE in the past year where my address was not brought up for me to verify and look shipment over AND sent to the wrong state AGAIN! Try it once

Can’t Where are those hot pink shoes to match your outfit because they’re faded. They’re scratched from you dress dancing in them or wanna dress up your kids shoes that have been scratched all over the place from them playing? Well, use some nail polish remover, paint over the fades and scratches, then use a little finisher to put whatever glass you want them to finish with and you’re good to go. I promise you if you do this one time you’ll understand how easy it is and Angelus has videos for you to watch and learn, not difficult at all! Scouts honor!
