Angelus Neon Popsicle Green is an ultra-vibrant, high-performance acrylic pigment engineered for custom sneaker designs that require a bold, electric aesthetic. Part of the specialized Neon series, this water-based formula is reactive to black light, making it a standout choice for high-visibility projects and high-concept customs. Unlike standard acrylics, this paint is designed to integrate with the fibers of leather, vinyl, and canvas, providing a permanent bond that maintains extreme flexibility under mechanical stress.

For optimal neon vibrancy, Popsicle Green should be applied over a similar-colored base coat or a clean white surface, as neon pigments are naturally more translucent. The material must first be prepped with a deglazer to remove the factory finish, ensuring the neon polymer can anchor directly to the substrate. When applied in thin, incremental layers, the paint levels itself to eliminate brush strokes and creates a seamless, factory-fresh appearance. Once cured, the result is a fully waterproof surface that is resistant to cracking, peeling, and abrasive scuffs.

Formula: Professional-grade, water-based acrylic resin with neon pigments designed for extreme flexibility and black-light reactivity.

Application: Suitable for brushwork, sponges, or airbrushing (0.35mm nozzle or larger recommended when thinned with 2-Thin).

Coverage: Semi-translucent neon pigment; requires a white base coat for maximum color "pop" and saturation.

Durability: Industrial-standard resistance to water penetration, scratching, and mechanical wear after a 24-hour cure.

Sizes: Available in 1 oz, 4 oz, Pint, and Quart containers to suit any production volume.

How to Paint Leather:

  1. Use Angelus Leather Preparer & Deglazer, making 3–5 passes to remove the finish.

  2. Let the leather dry for a few minutes, then wipe with a microfiber cloth.

  3. Apply a similar-color base coat first; Neon colors require it for proper brightness.

  4. Apply 3–5 thin coats of Angelus Paint with a brush, sponge, or airbrush (0.35 mm+). Allow 15–30 minutes between coats.

  5. Allow the paint to cure for 24 hours before bending or wearing.

  6. For added protection or sheen, apply 1–2 light layers of Angelus 4-Coat.

How to Paint Canvas and Denim:

  1. Clean the material thoroughly using Angelus Easy Cleaner to remove oils and dirt.

  2. Ensure the canvas or denim is completely dry.

  3. For a softer, flexible feel, mix the paint with Angelus 2-Soft and heat-set after applying.

  4. Apply a similar-color base coat; Neon colors need it to pop.

  5. Apply 3–5 thin coats, drying 15–30 minutes between layers.

  6. Canvas doesn’t require a top coat, but Angelus 4-Coat can be used to adjust sheen.
