Angelus paint is great to work with. First time I've used it to paint shoes. This particular color I mixed with beige and a drop of black to get the nude shade I wanted for my sandals. I got close. I wish it wasn't quite as orange. If it had a tinge more brown in it that would be great.
Cachets is a GREAT color that has great coverage.
Beautiful color and great coverage. Angelus paint never disappoints. The leather stays soft and the paint doesn't flake or chip. It dries fast and a little goes a long way. Just remember, always apply in thin coats.
Angelus Vachetta Paint
I have used this color on lighter leather on the vachetta leather that was damaged due to water staining and it worked great. I did use a bit of a couple other colors to perfect the one color i was seeking so it would blend naturally!

Wanted to paint and personalize some leather projects in the house and researched what the best paint was for a month! Finally pulled the trigger and ordered from Angelus— at first I thought, “What are these tiny bottles going to do!” But it takes so little of the product for a rich color and great coverage. The quality is as great as everything else from Angelus. The only issue was the color. I don’t feel that the swatch they showed matched what it looks like in real life. I didn’t know what vachetta leather from LV was before I got the paint, so it probably matches actual vachetta perfectly.

This is an awesome color! It’s perfect for refreshing the leather trim on my Gucci bag!!! Almost a perfect match! Holds well to the leather! Also nice on a Louis Vuitton. I love the way it refreshes the bag! But, also to be honest I like the natural Carmel of the leather! This paints holds well to bag straps and trim

Best product for vachetta leather
This paint goes on really well and soaks into the leather. I’ve used it quite a few time times and haven’t experienced chipping, cracking, or fading. It blends into the leather flawlessly.

The paint cover was very good but the color was too light. I just ordered a Cognac color to try to correct the difference.

What’s the best product to rehydrate old vachetta before painting? I’m refurbishing a 20 year old Louis Vuitton. The leather is very dry.
