Angelus Grey Taupe Paint

The paint was thick and creamy. Went on great. Perfect leveling and drying time. Excellent coverage. I only used a 1/3 of the paint purchased. I would highly recommend this paint.

This paint was perfect for painting my AF1’s! It was super thin which made it easy to work with and dried quickly.

I bought the paint to paint a pair of New Balance shoes that had gotten very scuffed. It worked beautifully and I'm now thinking of changing the color on another pair!

I really liked the color very high-quality product.

I like the smoothness and creaminess of this paint. The grey taupe has some cool undertones that blend well with the rest of the neutrals and earthtones on my current project. I originally wanted to mix the pigment myself, but decided to try to see how well the color looks premixed. I like it.

I absolutely love Angelus paints — I’ve built up quite the collection, and every shade has been reliable and beautiful. I paint custom pet portraits on purses, and these paints are perfect for that level of detail. They layer smoothly, seal beautifully, and last. I recently picked up Grey Taupe and it’s been amazing as both an undercoat and a highlight, depending on the dog’s coloring. Couldn’t recommend these paints more for anyone working on leather or wanting their artwork to hold up over time.

Very pigmented and worked well!

I’m in the process of painting a pair of white leather custom Doc Marten boots (no laces). I’ve tried about half of the paints I purchased so far, abd they mix very easily to create a variety of colors. I’ve been using white and black to make some value range as needed. I haven’t yet actually used this color gray yet, but I’m hopefully it will be the color I that it looks like it will be on the site/in the bottle and work just as well on the boots. I would recommend this paint so far for painting on leather. This is my first time, so I can’t speak to how it holds up over wearing. These are a commission, so I hope they hold up!

This paint is amazing. It's easy to work with, inexpensive, and the result is beautiful. I did add some of the regular taupe color to the gray taupe to get the color I wanted. I thought the gray taupe by itself was more gray than taupe. I painted two club chairs and an ottoman. Everyone loves it and can't believe they're painted. It looks so natural.
