It's the best leather paint for shoes, perfect for crafting unique designs.

PAINTING LEATHER

1. Prepare leather surfaces using 3-5 passes of Angelus Leather Preparer & Deglazer using our applicators, cotton balls, or a rag. (acetone can also be used).

2. Wait for leather to dry a few minutes. When dry, wipe with microfiber cloth to remove any remaining dust particles.

3. Apply Angelus Paint with paint brush, airbrush (at least 0.35mm nozzle) or sponge. Apply 3-5 coats or until desired coverage has been reached. Less coats can be used for line work and detail work.

Make sure to leave to dry 15-30 minutes between layers.

4. Allow to dry for at least 24 hours before allowing paint to bend or flex. Be careful of flying lint or debris getting on the shoe to avoid imperfections. Longer curing time ensures better durability.

5. To add extra protection or customize the finish, apply Angelus 4-Coat Clear Coat in Flat, Satin, Glossy, or Matte. Use 1-2 layers for the best results. 1-2 layers on top.

PAINTING CANVAS/DENIM - SHOES, CLOTHING, AND MORE

1. Prep by cleaning the surface with a cleaning product like our Angelus Easy Cleaner Kit. It is necessary to get out all the oils and dirt that may be sitting in or on the canvas. 

2. Make sure there is adequate dry time and that you wipe off and get all the cleaner out.

3. (Optional) If you want to make the paint soak in and not be as rubbery textured on canvas we suggest using our product 2-Soft mixed with our paint. You can paint Angelus paint directly on canvas without it but it just will feel more like a screen print then part of the shoe. When using 2-Soft you must heat set.

4. Paint with 3-5 light layers of Angelus Paint. Make sure to leave to dry 15-30 minutes between layers.

5. Leave to dry. 

(Optional) No additional protection is really needed as the paint has soaked into the canvas. If you want to change the sheen to a matte or glossy look instead we do suggest our 4-Coat Clear Coat.

Great for color transitions

Inexpensive way to refresh a worn leather steering wheel

After 230,000 miles, my 2012 Toyota Avalon's leather wrap steering wheel was worn and needed some tender loving care. The silver wrapped steering wheel was badly discolored. My options were slim until I found Angelus on a YouTube video regarding steering wheel repairs with Angelus paint. I went into this project apprehensive with low expectations and came out of this project a big fan of Angelus Paint. This product is very easy to apply and the quality is superb. My steering wheel looks new, what a transformation. I would recommend to purchase several color shades because it is hard to match a color from you phone, pad or laptop. After seeing the transformation of my steering wheel, a close friend asked if I could restore his leather wrapped steering wheel on his 30' sailboat. My answer was yes.

great quality paint. the color

great quality paint. the color just did not match the mist color of my off white/greyish leather sofa. the mist here is more of a blueish tint to it so i used it to paint an old pair of nikes with came out pretty good

Not A Match

I brought the mist paint to match the color I need for a repaint of my White Cement 4's, but the color didn't match like I hoped. But I can mix it close enough.
