Prep for Leather

Always remove the factory finish before painting (on leather and most non-fabric materials) by doing 3-5 passes with Angelus Leather Preparer & Deglazer.

The color was perfect

I used the paint to change the color of my daughter’s jazz shoes to match her skin tone. The product was easy to mix with other colors and I ended up getting the perfect hue of brown. The paint even covered scuffs from wear and tear and gave the shoes a “like new” look!

Great product

Bought these shoes at a thrift store but knew I wanted to change the colour. Looked through the paint catalogue and decided to buy the 4 OZ. rich brown with the no. 600 acrylic finisher. Followed the instructions and they turned out great. Probably only used about a capful of paint for these shoes so there is lots left over, retrospectively I would get the 1 OZ. for a small project like this.
