Angelus Neon Sunset Yellow is a high-visibility acrylic coating formulated to provide a vibrant, fluorescent finish on leather, canvas, and various synthetic materials. This professional-grade paint utilizes a flexible bond technology that prevents cracking and peeling, even on high-movement areas of footwear. To achieve maximum color saturation and luminosity, this neon pigment must be applied over a similar-color or white base coat after proper surface deglazing.

  • Formula: Water-based, fluorescent acrylic polymer engineered for permanent adhesion and superior flexibility.

  • Application: Optimal for brush or sponge use; requires thinning with Angelus 2-Thin for airbrush systems with a 0.35mm+ nozzle.

  • Visibility: High-impact neon pigment designed to produce a bright, Southern California-inspired yellow finish.

  • Versatility: Adheres to leather, canvas, denim, and wood; can be mixed with 2-Soft for fabrics or 2-Hard for non-porous surfaces.

  • Sizes: Available in 1 oz, 4 oz, Pint, and Quart containers to accommodate various professional shop requirements.

How to Paint Leather:

  1. Use Angelus Leather Preparer & Deglazer, making 3–5 passes to remove the finish.

  2. Let the leather dry for a few minutes, then wipe with a microfiber cloth.

  3. Apply a similar-color base coat first; Neon colors require it for proper brightness.

  4. Apply 3–5 thin coats of Angelus Paint with a brush, sponge, or airbrush (0.35 mm+). Allow 15–30 minutes between coats.

  5. Allow the paint to cure for 24 hours before bending or wearing.

  6. For added protection or sheen, apply 1–2 light layers of Angelus 4-Coat.

How to Paint Canvas and Denim:

  1. Clean the material thoroughly using Angelus Easy Cleaner to remove oils and dirt.

  2. Ensure the canvas or denim is completely dry.

  3. For a softer, flexible feel, mix the paint with Angelus 2-Soft and heat-set after applying.

  4. Apply a similar-color base coat; Neon colors need it to pop.

  5. Apply 3–5 thin coats, drying 15–30 minutes between layers.

  6. Canvas doesn’t require a top coat, but Angelus 4-Coat can be used to adjust sheen.
