In short, they are the same great Leather Dyes that you are used to, but can ship anywhere, aren't flammable, and dry a bit slower due to the absence of alcohol. You won't be disappointed with them!
Dyes takes the color of what is under them. So if you dye something white with red it will turn pink. It mixes with it. Paint sits on the surface and grabs on. You can cover anything with paint. Our paint is water based while our dyes are alcohol based.
Yes, all Angelus Dyes are mixable! Angelus Leather Dyes can be mixed with other Angelus Leather Dyes, and the same for Angelus Suede Dyes. Mixing dyes to acheive specific colors is harder than mixing paints and does require testing. (Do not mix Suede Dyes and Leather Dyes together.)
Keep in mind that this is considered a professional product. You may need to perform many tests before applying it to your final piece.

I love this color on my boots! I wanted them to be darker and found this dye on Amazon. It works great and I also uses it on some other shoes without any problems. I did learn that I needed to wear long gloves when dying boots 😂. The dye wears off of your skin in a few days.
I bought this leather dye to cover a high end leather ottoman I found on the curb. The thing retails for $2100, I was not going to pass on it. But it had a lot of stains. After thoroughly washing it I used the navy blue dye to match my navy blue bedroom. One bottle was plenty, I had bought two just in case. I only needed one half bottle. The smell is not horrible. However, it is way darker than navy blue it came out almost black so I am a bit disappointed with that. Regardless, it completely covered the red and the stains and now I have a brand new ottoman. The pictures are with just one coat and before I reconditioned the leather.
Worked perfectly as expected! Dyed some beat up old pink cowboy boots, turned out beautiful! Maybe a little darker than expected.
The dye goes on easy and doesn’t leave any haze to buff off as I’ve found with other brands. In the sun the blue color is brilliant. Just for fun I dyed the white stitching on my boots.

These leather dyes are awesome for staining wood. I have done several guitar tops using both regular and low-VOC Angelus dyes and the colour saturation and ability to blend are great.

The the shoe dye I ordered in Navy was a beautiful Navy color. It flowed smoothly on my shoes.
I used this on a pair of leather shoes whose toes were scraped. The dye covered the scraped area and the shoes looked great. Easy to use. Dryer quickly - don’t get on the sole.
This went on well, dried quickly and maintained its depth of color after dried. The applicator was surprisingly useful (I would still wear gloves) and the opacity of the dye wasn’t too bad. Coverage was a little streaky.I dyed a hot pink jacket and it took the whole bottle to do 3/4 of a first coat. It looks to me like it might need 3 coats to reach full coverage.Good product, but have realistic expectations for coverage - it’s not a miracle worker or a $400 professional dye bath.

This worked very well to dye a pair of leather sandals, but the color is so dark blue it almost looks black. Not so happy about that.
